"Rock & roll journeyman and Chicago stalwart Dashdown is at it again with a lockdown-inspired collection of lo-fi gems. Drawing on his roots in pub and punk rock, "The Dirt Tastes Good Right Here" features Punk Icon Tommy Stinson (The Replacements) on a collection of tracks steeped in cigarette-smoke harmonies and loose 4-on-the-floor grooves. Unpretentious rock & roll with the just the right amount of swagger" - Bill Whalen, Blind Pigeon Records

The power-poppy "Nativize", featuring Aztec flutist René Cardoza, speaks to a personal calling and belief that indigenous wisdom, knowledge & spirit hold the key to reversing

our trajectory.

'Dirt' was Mastered by Andrew Garver (Chris Cornell, Rage Against The Machine, Madonna). Dashdown's rock lineage includes critically acclaimed releases with Waiting For HenryBoom HankBillhouse and Braam, recording with the likes of the afore-mentioned Stinson, Brad Wood (Liz Phair)Mitch Easter (R.E.M.)Doug McBride (Izzy Stradlin) & Darrell Thorp (Beck). Dashdown played SXSW in 2019 in support of EP's 'Three from me' and 'Wish'.
